How will you make an impact? 
The Sr. Inventory Control Manager at Jabil, Inc. will lead and optimize all inventory control operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient material flow, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing facilities. This role is critical for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What will you do?

  • Develop, implement, and enforce inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory control specialists and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage cycle counting and physical inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
  • Analyze inventory data, identify trends, and provide insights to drive decision-making and improve inventory turns, obsolescence reduction, and working capital optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless material flow and alignment with production schedules.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and leverage data analytics to enhance inventory visibility and control.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce inventory holding costs, improve accuracy, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, discrepancies, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices related to inventory management.
  • Manage and resolve complex inventory issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.


How will you get here? 

Education: 

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience working in a complex manufacturing environment, preferably within the electronics or high-tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, planning, and optimization techniques.
  • Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
