Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA, a global leader in accelerated computing, AI, and graphics technology, to hire a Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer supporting the Infrastructure, Planning & Process (IPP) Team. This team operates large-scale infrastructure platforms that support hundreds of thousands of automated engineering jobs daily across thousands of servers worldwide. The role focuses on OpenStack operations, bare-metal provisioning, and infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities
- Support OpenStack infrastructure operations across large distributed environments.
- Work with OpenStack Ironic to provision and manage bare-metal servers.
- Troubleshoot PXE boot provisioning workflows (DHCP, TFTP, HTTP, iSCSI).
- Write and maintain automation tools (Python) for infrastructure operations.
- Support and troubleshoot OpenStack services including Nova, Neutron, Glance, Cinder, Placement, and Ironic.
- Manage infrastructure services including MySQL, RabbitMQ, CEPH, HAProxy, and Keepalived.
- Collaborate with SRE, infrastructure, and data center teams to support deployments and system reliability.
- Assist with incident response, bug triage, and system performance investigations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Cloud Operations
- Strong experience with OpenStack environments
- Hands-on experience with OpenStack Ironic and bare-metal provisioning (critical)
- Strong understanding of PXE boot processes
- Experience troubleshooting DHCP, DNSMASQ, TFTP, HTTP, and network provisioning
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong Linux (RHEL) systems experience
- Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and automation tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure or QA environments
- Strong network troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting data center infrastructure and hardware provisioning
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Bash scripting, and CI/CD pipelines
