ABOUT THE POSITION
Columbia Sportswear is powered by technology that connects four global brands, a worldwide supply chain, and 500+ retail stores. Our Columbia Digital Technology (CDT) organization is expanding its Global Capability Center (GCC) in India to help drive our next phase of cloud transformation.
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong Azure expertise. General familiarity with AWS is a plus but not required. Experience with AliCloud remains an added advantage.
Because this role partners with global teams across North America, Europe, and Asia, excellent English communication (spoken and written) and experience working with international, distributed teams are essential.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Deliver engineering solutions across our Azure‑first cloud ecosystem
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform at a highly proficient level, ensuring scalable, secure, and repeatable deployments
Conduct audits, assessments, and develop technical documentation
Support global teams by assisting with operational escalations
Collaborate closely with cross‑regional partners to execute shared technical roadmaps
Partner with Finance, Platform, and Engineering teams to support FinOps practices, including cloud cost visibility, usage optimization, and spend governance
Contribute to cloud spend reporting, cost allocation, and showback models using Azure native tools and Cloudability
This position plays a key role in building a stable, scalable, and secure future for Columbia’s cloud portfolio.

YOU HAVE
Minimum 5 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related STEM field—or equivalent experience
Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (primary requirement)
General knowledge of AWS (nice to have, not required)
Experience working with global or distributed teams (GCC/multinational experience is a plus)
Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence
Strong Terraform experience, particularly for IaC and deployment pipelines
Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, automation tools such as Ansible and PowerShell
Experience with ITSM/ITIL; exposure to Jira Service Manager is a plus
