Responsible for successfully executing enterprise-wide Information Security controls and processes that protect the company’s data and functions across all business areas, adhering to data protection standards, procedures, regulatory oversight, and technical solutions for the Information Security department.  Support of program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and approved configuration certification of systems.  Supporting established processes, analysis of computing environment, coordination, testing, hardware introduction and release, cyber-security based awareness and education, phishing campaign management, and participation in periodic audits.  Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all state, federal, and country laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

In accordance with regulatory and audit requirements, this position will perform analysis of systems, programs, and planning activities, including the development of technical documentation and analysis of policies, procedures, and cyber-security related programs and initiatives.  Delivery of activity reporting, including metrics, environment impact, effectiveness progress, and performance indicators.  The role will also assist with ensuring discretionary and regulatory audits are aligned with HireRight’s current processes and procedures.

Duties

  • Assists in the execution of the Information Security Program, Data Governance practices, and Privacy assurance
  • Support operational technology (OT) security within manufacturing and labs environments
  • Experience implementing OT security frameworks such as Purdue OT security model, NIST SP 800 82, IEC/ISA 62443
  • Assists in maintaining an accurate enterprise critical data inventory
  • Monitors, tracks, and reports on compliance to security requirements, and works with the responsible parties to drive timely remediation
  • Generates and monitors effective and actionable Information Security reporting across all technical landscape and provides pertinent input to briefing presentations
  • Executes as a reliable second-line-of-defense via documented processes, controls, templates, and rigors
  • Participates in the global distribution of the enterprise Cyber-Security Operations Security Awareness training and campaigns
  • Practices applicable procedures and standards that meet existing and newly developed policy and regulatory requirements (i.e., PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR, CCPA)
  • Keeps abreast of the latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts, and vulnerabilities pertaining to the organization
  • Develop and implement security best practices as it pertains to lab and manufacturing sites for end points

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security, and/or related work experience

  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal)

Experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing or lab environment
  • 5-8+ years’ experience in multiple Cybersecurity domains (i.e., Identify & Access Control, Network Security, Enterprise Directory Systems, Encryption, Data Loss Prevention {DLP}, Governance / Risk Management, Information Security Operations), monitor and response experience in a Cybersecurity operation-based environment
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing and protecting cloud-based system security (infrastructure & applications)
  • In-depth familiarity with workflow tools and ability to develop and improve tool utilization and process efficiency
