Job Purpose
The Sr. HRIS Delivery Consultant is responsible for analyzing, configuring, unit testing and implementing complex system enhancements, integrations and updates in support of Workday and other HR applications licensed by Jackson. The Sr. HRIS Solution Delivery Consultant collaborates with a diverse team of stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements to facilitate functional design and application configuration modifications for user requested enhancements. The Consultant identifies and analyzes technical specifications, designing, configuring and unit testing configurations, coordinating the quality assurance testing process, as well as executing production implementation of the changes. The Sr. HRIS Delivery Solution Consultant is responsible for identifying system improvement opportunities and designing solutions along with facilitating issue resolution for HR applications. The Consultant also mentors HRIS team members by providing knowledge, guidance and support.
Essential Responsibilities
Analyzes, configures, unit tests and promotes business processes, integrations, templates, forms and tables for Workday and other HR applications in test and production environments.
Develops complex technical designs in support of Workday and other HR applications configuration changes.
Develops, executes and documents audit and quality control processes for maintaining data integrity and security of HR systems.
Supports audit readiness and data integrity in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.
Identifies and resolves complex production system inquiries.
Acts as a liaison between HR and business units to facilitate problem resolution, system modifications and enhancements.
Plans, executes and manages multiple HR related projects of varying nature including system upgrades and new software acquisitions.
Monitors periodic maintenance updates performed on HR systems by software application vendors.
Leads the review, testing, and deployment of bi annual Workday releases, including impact assessment, coordination with stakeholders, and post release validation.
Designs, configures, and maintains Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics, including ad hoc, scheduled, matrix, and composite reports with calculated fields.
Creates, modifies, and manages application system security roles while evaluating downstream implications.
Creates and maintains automated test scripts.
Monitors HR systems Community sites for communications that may impact the company.
Develops and maintains vendor relationships to handle routine communications.
Participates in user groups as required.
Creates and maintains departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Mentors team members by providing guidance, training and support.
Contributes to the development of HRIS strategy, policies and procedures.
Maintains awareness of current industry trends and techniques.
Identifies and maintains lessons learned process to drive continual improvement.

Other Duties
Provides on-call support as required.
Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Strong technical and working knowledge of HRIS applications, theory and practice.
Strong knowledge of key HR functions to include Employment, Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations, Payroll, and Training and Development.
Excellent project management skills and working knowledge of system development methodology principles including Agile.
Ability to effectively manage vendor relationships.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of relational database management, reporting and general office applications.
Knowledge of business process design/redesign practices.
Ability to mentor less experienced associates and end users.
Ability to simply communicate complex technical information.
Excellent knowledge of other HRIS related systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience required.
5+ years experience with Workday Core HCM required.
3+ years project management experience required.
Experience with Workday EIB or other integration experience required.
Workday Certification in Core HCM or other HR competencies.
