The scope of this position includes the overall HRBP role for the Coromant Company Sales Division and the Sandvik Group Company
.• The work location will be at Sandvik KK headquarters (Nagoya). A hybrid plan with remote work is expected
.• Provide advice, guidance, and coaching to managers regarding employee management and HR-related issues.
• Coordinate and handle various aspects of the salary system, benefits system, recruitment, training, talent development, and employee relations
.• Ensure that HR-related administrative procedures are carried out promptly and accurately according to guidelines. Conduct checks and processing for this purpose
.• Operate the HR data system (Workday) and maitain accurary of the data.
Respond to inquiries from employees and managers.
• Properly implement a series of processes related to recruitment, including job creation, recruitment activities, interviews, preparation of offer letters, onboarding procedures, onboarding training, and monitoring and confirming the completion of the probation period
.• Responsible for managing performance reviews, promotions, salary increases, bonuses, and salary revisions.
• When conducting globally-led engagement surveys, analyze results and build and implement action plans collaboratively with stakeholders
.• Provide appropriate advice to managers regarding violations of employment regulations by employees or cases of illness.
• When issues related to employees arise, provide professional advice regarding applicable policies and laws.
• Respond to labor union matters in cooperation with the HR manager. Participate in labor-management councils.
• Ensure that HR records comply with Japanese legal regulations.
• Flexibly respond to tasks assigned by managers.
• Experience using English in a business context.
• Experience working in a global company and a matrix organization is preferred.
• Understanding of the company's HR policies, strategies, and situations.
• Understanding of the business of Sandvik Coromant and the Sandvik Group
• Understanding of Japan's Labor Standards Act and Occupational Safety and Health Act.
• Understanding of salary and social insurance related matters
.• Experience in planning/implementing training and development programs.
