About the Team

Our Solution Consulting team acts as a strategic partner to the sales organization, responsible for building a compelling vision of Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. As the first Senior HCM Solution Consultant based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you will be a foundational member of the core team responsible for opening and scaling a new market for Workday in KSA and across the extended new region.

You will help bring the value of Workday’s HCM solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed for leading organizations in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. Working closely with our sales counterparts, you will help drive net-new opportunities as well as Customer Base expansion. You will also collaborate regularly with Product Management, Services/Implementation, Marketing, and Value Management on key account activity, giving you broad exposure to many areas of the business.

As our customer base grows in META, our Solution Consultants also support proactive engagements to accelerate product adoption and optimization, improving overall customer health and enabling continued customer growth.


Based in Riyadh, KSA.
Ability to travel across KSA, the Gulf and META region up to ~50% as required.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior HCM Solution Consultant to join our organization and to serve as our first dedicated HCM Solution Consultant in KSA.

Workday Solution Consultants act as trusted advisors throughout the entire sales lifecycle. We navigate a highly complex environment that demands a blend of curiosity, flexibility, and drive. Our Solution Consultants don’t just demo features and functions; they deliver value-based executive presentations and tailored product demonstrations that solve unique business challenges.

You will work closely with Account Executives and peer Solution Consultants across EMEA, Middle East to support a combination of fast-moving, efficient opportunities as well as large, strategic pursuits that require deep investment. In partnership with our sales and customer success teams, you will ensure that leading organizations in your region are not only adopting our technology but also transforming their “world of work” to drive measurable business outcomes.

You will play a critical role in shaping how Workday shows up in this new market: bringing market feedback into our global teams, helping to build repeatable playbooks for KSA and the region, and acting as a visible champion of Workday’s HCM and AI capabilities in the local HR technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Pursuit & Market Expansion

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end technical sales cycle for prospects and customers in KSA and extended region, including deep-dive discovery, tailored solution demonstrations, and strategic vision workshops.

  • Partner with sales to open and develop new lighthouse accounts in the region, positioning Workday as the strategic HCM platform of choice.

  • Help build repeatable, scalable presales motions and assets tailored to the needs of KSA and the wider META market.

Vision & Value Realization

  • Transform a customer’s current HR and workforce environment into a tangible vision of the “Future of Work” through interactive, story-led demonstrations of Workday HCM.

  • Lead proactive “Health Check” and optimization engagements to identify underutilized capabilities, driving long-term customer value, adoption, and revenue retention.

  • Translate complex technical and regulatory requirements in KSA into clear, outcome-focused proposals for digital transformation.

Executive Influence & Thought Leadership

  • Deliver high-impact presentations and demonstrations to CHROs, HR leadership, IT executives, and C-level stakeholders, aligning Workday’s roadmap with their strategic objectives.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on how AI, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI in Workday can improve employee experience, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

  • Represent Workday at regional events, roundtables, and executive briefings as a subject matter expert on HCM and the Future of Work in KSA and META.

AI & Trustworthy Innovation

  • Clearly articulate the business value of Workday’s “Trustworthy AI” approach—how we enhance decision quality, reduce bias, and automate administrative work without compromising security or compliance.

  • Showcase Workday’s AI-driven capabilities in the context of regional HR use cases and cultural expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Management, Services, Marketing, and Value Management to bring the “voice of the customer” into our global roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

  • Partner with ecosystem stakeholders (implementation partners, alliances, and local influencers) to support successful deployments and customer success.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of presales / solution consulting experience in cloud-based HCM or HR technology platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or similar).

  • 5+ years of deep Human Capital Management domain expertise across areas such as Core HR, Talent, Recruitment, Learning, Payroll, and/or Workforce Management.

Other Qualifications

  • Regional & Market Experience:

    • Strong experience working with enterprise or large mid-market organizations in the Middle East; direct KSA experience strongly preferred.

    • Solid understanding of HR practices and regulatory considerations in KSA (e.g., local labor law, nationalization initiatives, public vs. private sector nuances).

  • Language & Communication:

    • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences.

    • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, capable of commanding a room (virtual or physical) at C‑Suite level and facilitating collaborative workshops.

  • Value-Based Selling & Discovery:

    • Expert-level discovery skills; able to uncover strategic business drivers and translate them into compelling solution visions and ROI-focused narratives.

    • Comfortable leading multi-stakeholder sessions, managing objections, and guiding customers through complex decision-making processes.

  • AI & Technology Savviness:

    • Strong interest in and understanding of how AI, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI apply to enterprise platforms and HCM use cases.

    • Ability to explain AI-driven capabilities and their business impact in simple, trusted, and locally relevant terms.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
