About the role:

We are seeking a strategic, driven, and innovative Senior Global Marketing Manager to help lead the global urinary incontinence portfolio within the Global Home Care Platform of our Urology & Critical Care (UCC) business. Reporting to the Global Director of Marketing, you will champion a key innovation and in one of one of the most dynamic and high‑growth product categories in our portfolio—playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing the new product development and launch strategy for a critical initiative as well as the managing key aspects of the urinary incontinence home care business.

In this influential role, you will collaborate closely with the Global Market Director and Senior Global Marketing Manager for Urinary Incontinence to advance global product line strategies, lead VOC and insights-driven initiatives, support product lifecycle management, and unlock growth opportunities in both emerging and established segments. You will apply best‑in‑class new product development and product management practices to accelerate portfolio performance and differentiate BD in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Innovation & Market Insights

  • Represent marketing on the NPD project team to translate customer needs into product requirements
  • Lead development of new product launch strategy and execution into new markets and channels.
  • Lead insights activities in partnership with BD Insights to gather VOC, assess market trends, and translate findings into actionable strategies.

Strategic Product Leadership

  • Ensure product line meets evolving market needs by driving continual improvements that strengthen competitiveness, market penetration, and share.
  • Lead global product lifecycle management, including product updates, production planning, quality alignment, and inventory planning.

Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute compelling marketing collateral and omnichannel campaigns—including branding, naming, creative direction, messaging, claims development, agency management, and regional toolkits.
  • Assess and develop go-to-market strategies for new product launch including DTC, online marketplaces, and retail channels
  • Partner with regional commercial teams to build and deploy strategic launch plans and demand generation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Support annual strategic planning and lead development of select business-critical strategies for the urinary incontinence portfolio.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, Operations, Sales, and Innovation teams to ensure successful NPD launch, enhance product features, adjust portfolio strategy, and optimize financial and market outcomes.
  • Represent the product line in Demand, Supply, and Operational Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment across regions and supply chain partners.

Commercial & Financial Performance

  • Develop robust business cases for new products, line extensions, and strategic partnerships to expand revenue and ensure successful launches and commercialization.
  • Conduct business and financial analyses to support planning and deliver actionable performance insights.

Technical & Commercial Enablement

  • Provide product training and technical support to sales and field teams to ensure clear communication of product value and differentiation.

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management and/or marketing management with demonstrated success in: market opportunity identification, customer segmentation and insights, brand positioning and messaging, omnichannel campaigns, competitive analysis and pricing strategies and go-to market planning.
  • Strong ability to translate complex scientific and clinical information into compelling marketing and customer messaging.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects across functions and geographies.

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • Experience in Direct to Consumer and/or Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Global experience
