As a Senior IT Functional Analyst specializing in Tax and SAP FI, you will step into a highly strategic role at the center of our global S/4HANA transformation. This is a rare opportunity to join an elite integration team that works across functional boundaries, giving you a true 360° view of the SAP FI ecosystem. In this role, you won’t be confined to a single domain – you’ll shape critical, enterprise‑wide solutions that influence how finance and tax operate across the entire organization. You will lead the functional design and evolution of our global SAP FI, Indirect Tax, and OneSource landscape, driving innovation and harmonization across both S/4HANA and ECC platforms.
If you’re looking for a role where your expertise directly impacts global transformation, where you gain broad exposure, and where you have the platform to elevate your SAP career to the next level, this is that opportunity.
What you’ll be doing
Drive the functional design and delivery of global SAP FI, Indirect Tax, and OneSource solutions across both S/4HANA and ECC landscapes.
Partner with Process Experts, the Process Excellence Team, IT Advisors, and Product Managers to ensure streamlined delivery of Tax Legal & Fiscal (L&F) requirements.
Drive solution development for lightly managed applications across various cloud platforms.
Lead global e‑invoicing and compliance reporting initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory and enterprise standards.
Collaborate with Project Managers on solution design, scope definition, and effort estimation.
Coordinate with Change Management and Release Management teams, working seamlessly within ServiceNow and HPQC.
Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, high‑quality functional solutions.
Perform and facilitate quality assessments, ensuring robust design and delivery.
Lead requirement‑gathering workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Contribute to and oversee the creation of Functional Specifications, ensuring alignment with technical design principles.
Develop or supervise the development of reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFs) across all complexity levels.
Work closely with Design Leads and Delivery Leads to ensure new capabilities are fully understood and embedded into upcoming initiatives.
Support production issue resolution, collaborating with the Support Organization as needed.
Conduct prototyping activities to validate requirements and resolve functional or technical design questions.
Execute and review tax‑specific testing, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing support.
Resolve defects and issues during all test cycles and provide post–go‑live support.
Support Business Analysts in developing runbooks and participate in peer reviews.
Prepare audit and compliance reporting in alignment with internal and external requirements.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
9–12 years of SAP FI experience, with deep expertise in Indirect and Direct Tax solution delivery.
Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with Global Next, ONESOURCE Determination, and OneSource Reporting.
Strong proficiency in system interfaces, including integrations between multiple ERPs and between third‑party applications and SAP systems.
In‑depth knowledge of SAP FI configuration, including I‑Doc structures and interface document flows.
Proven expertise in delivering end‑to‑end S/4HANA transformation projects, from design through deployment.
Experience designing and developing custom solutions, ensuring high‑quality, scalable outcomes.
A reliable track record of leading teams and delivering SAP projects with excellence and consistency.
Experience planning, leading, and coaching Agile initiatives, with an ability to bring stakeholders along in Agile ways of working.
ONESOURCE Enterprise Cloud certifications (highly advantageous).
A commercially oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
Ability to translate technology strategy into tangible business outcomes and drive value‑driven delivery.
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the presence and credibility to engage senior Finance leaders.
Ability to build trusted, collaborative partnerships with process owners and Finance leadership teams.
