Job Summary:
The Sr Fleet Business Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing fleet operations by evaluating and enhancing processes through technology and data. This role bridges operational needs with digital solutions, ensuring fleet management is efficient, cost-effective, and compliant. The ideal candidate embraces an AI-first mindset, leveraging tools like Copilot Studio to automate workflows, generate insights, and support smarter decision-making across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements related to fleet operations. Analyze current processes to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • System Implementation and Support: Lead the deployment and support of fleet management systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and user adoption.
  • AI-Driven Optimization: Use AI tools such as Copilot Studio to streamline data analysis, automate reporting, and enhance operational workflows.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze fleet data to identify trends and opportunities. Build dashboards and reports that drive actionable insights.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements that improve fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and support Beacon’s values of reliability and care.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure effective use of systems and AI tools. Maintain clear documentation of configurations and processes.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure fleet operations meet regulatory standards and internal policies. Manage licensing and maintain accurate vehicle records.


Required Skills and Competencies:

  • AI Fluency: Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot Studio, and a mindset geared toward automation, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with fleet management software and systems. Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into business value.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to engage stakeholders and convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in maintaining records, documentation, and compliance standards.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in business systems analysis, preferably within fleet management or logistics. Experience in the school bus or transportation industry is a plus.
  • Certifications: Certifications in business analysis or fleet management systems are advantageous. Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement credentials are highly desirable.
