Job Summary

The Sr Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting Sourcing & Manufacturing Finance in O&M Global Products NA division through financial analysis, forecasting/budgeting, KPI development. The role will partner directly with Sourcing supporting savings/cost initiatives and work cross-functionally with Accounting, Manufacturing Operations, Corporate FP&A, Marketing and divisional FP&A partners.

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible financial reporting supporting Global Product NA; ensures accuracy of financial statements, savings initiatives tracking and supporting financial presentation material
  • Works in close collaboration with Sourcing, Marketing, Operations, Corporate FP&A, & Accounting, including Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly forecast cycles; Annual budget process specifically as it relates to sourcing initiatives and product costing
  • Design, build, maintain financial models that evaluate sourcing/procurement strategies, and support cost optimization projects.
  • Routinely performs PPV variance analysis, support make vs buy decisions, spend analysis, maintain key financial metrics impacting direct product cost, and forecasts
  • Encourages new ideas, processes and approaches. Champions and enables a culture of multidisciplinary problem solving, teamwork, flexibility, execution, quality and effective communication.
  • Performs additional duties as directed.

Qualifying Experience

  • Four-year undergraduate degree required. Preferable in finance, accounting, business, or similar. MBA highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related FP&A experience, including a position of similar scope and impact.
  • FP&A experience in manufacturing or sourcing, including business partnership with senior executive leadership, is highly preferred.
  • Healthcare distribution and/or manufacturing experience is desirable.
  • Ability to travel, up to 10-20% of the time.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Highly analytical & personable with strong written & verbal communication skills – able to communicate financial concepts to non-financial audiences-strong attention to detail
  • Must have proven corporate financial analysis skills and experience with SAP, Hyperion Planning & Essbase financial systems
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data mining preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and implement complex financial projects.
  • Strong ability and experience managing and performing multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work independently
