Compensation
The compensation target for this role is: $95,200 - $112,000Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for evaluating company financial performance, providing insights, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting the Finance team. This role involves analysing financial data, preparing department level budgets, and preparing financial reports. This is done in partnership with leadership of assigned parts of the business helping drive strategy and helping to influence business decisions. This role is more independent than an entry level financial analyst.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and help assess the financial health of the organization.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with different departments to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance, analyse variances, and provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
Financial Modelling:
Develop and maintain financial models and projections to provide continued insight into company’s financial performance.
Reporting and Presentation:
Prepare and present financial reports, performance metrics, and analysis to key stakeholders.
Preparation of monthly and quarterly Board level reporting packages that include analysis of key business trends and actual versus plan and prior period variances.
Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including our G&A, Showrooms, Wholesale, and Marketing depts, to gather data and insights.
Work closely with budget owners to ensure accurate financial reporting during month-end close process.
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3 - 6 years of FP&A or similar experience.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in financial modelling in Excel is preferred.
Prior experience with NetSuite or Adaptive Insights is a plus but not required.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
