This position is for a Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A, in the Raytheon Rates Organization.

Responsibilities include creating, analyzing, and managing financial data related to overhead expenses and rates, as well as supporting forward pricing rate submissions and incurred cost claims. Additional duties include providing cross-functional training, performing ad hoc analysis and reporting, maintaining historical records, trend analysis, and participating in internal and external management reviews. The Rates team also collaborates regularly with subject-matter experts across Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgets, APEX Core, other functional organizations, and external partners such as DCMA/DCAA.

What You Will Do:

  • Apex data inputs, extraction, consolidation, and analysis

  • Management of Assessments & Distributions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver standardized reporting and enhance processes through automation and technology

  • Support key business processes, including Forward Pricing Rate updates

  • Provide audit support and prepare monthly and quarterly DCMA reporting

  • Supporting special projects, as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Business or a related field

  • Typically requires 2 years’ relevant financial/accounting experience.

  • Experienced user of SAP and MS Excel or similar financial tools.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • APEX/PRISM/Business Warehouse/Analysis for Office knowledge and experience.

  • Experience developing training materials and supporting training delivery.

  • Conceptual knowledge of Rates and burdening process, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and/or Cost or Government Accounting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate effectively across teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with refined attention to detail

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
