Role Scope and Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Insights
- Conduct and document complex financial analyses including variance analysis, trend analysis, scenario modelling, and business case evaluations.
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights to support management decision‑making.
- Identify key risks and opportunities, recommending mitigating actions and value‑creation initiatives.
Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Support and/or coordinate monthly forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning cycles for assigned MEA businesses or functions.
- Prepare and review financial performance packs, dashboards, and KPI analyses for regional leadership.
- Ensure forecast accuracy, challenge assumptions, and drive accountability with business partners.
Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted finance partner to MEA stakeholders across commercial, supply chain, and functional teams.
- Support commercial and operational initiatives through profitability analysis, cost optimization, and investment evaluation.
- Influence decisions through strong financial acumen and data‑driven storytelling, without formal authority.
Reporting & Governance
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in line with internal policies and control frameworks.
- Support internal and external audit requirements as needed.
- Maintain and enhance documentation for financial processes, analyses, and methodologies.
Process Optimization & Capability Building
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation across finance activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with MEA Finance Transformation objectives.
- Provide guidance, coaching, or informal training to less experienced financial analysts, acting as a role model for best practices.
Independence & Decision‑Making
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy and professional judgment.
- Leads analytical workstreams and complex assignments independently.
- Escalates issues appropriately while proactively proposing solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certification (CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, or controlling.
- Experience working in a matrix, multinational environment; MEA exposure is preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, performance management, and internal controls.
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight deadlines.
