The Opportunity

“We are seeking a high caliber individual to join the FP&A team at FICO.  As the Senior Manager – FP&A, you will be the primary Finance Business Partner of the EMEA Sales Organization and have detailed involvement in financial planning and forecasting, deal structuring and pricing, contract drafting, and revenue recognition analysis for complex technology solutions across a variety of industries and diverse geographies.”  – Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis

What You’ll Contribute

  • Create and foster collaborative working relationships with key cross functional business partners, especially the Sales Organisation.
  • Provide financial support for complex Software deals all the way from initial commercial structuring through to final review by External Auditors.
  • Analyse and construct deals that both help FICO win deals whilst aligning with the company’s short and long term financial and strategic objectives.
  • Ownership of the planning and forecasting process for the EMEA region
  • Provide guidance on ARR & revenue recognition & timing. 
  • Assist Legal & Sales with contract drafting in addition to review and approval of revenue contracts.
  • Ensure that the risk management controls of the business are adhered to across all revenue contracts.

What We’re Seeking

  • Ability to develop relationships as a trusted advisor with key business unit leaders and internal stakeholders to shape business decisions.
  • The ability to communicate (both oral and written) complex financial information into simple and understandable messages is a must.
  • The ability to apply professional judgement in a wide variety of situations and persuade and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to use advanced functions in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) and Power Point to analyse datasets and synthesize complex financial information to present to business unit leaders for key decision-making.
  • Confident and personable with the ability to operate both “in the weeds” of financial systems and at a high level with Senior Stakeholders.
  • A recognized accounting qualification - CIMA, ACA or ACCA with at least several years of PQE.
  • Experience of working in a commercial fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Experience of working with a US parent company and in technology is preferred but not mandatory.
