Key Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture for large, multi-module Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud programs
(GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Subledger Accounting, Receivables,
Payables, Expenses, Tax, Bank Reconciliation).
Define target-state solution, architecture artifacts, roadmaps, integration patterns, and non-
functional requirements (security, performance, scalability, availability).
Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical design
(Configurations, extensions, integrations, data migration strategy).
Design and govern integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP services,
adapters, middleware patterns, and webhooks; recommend integration granularity and
error-handling strategies.
Lead complex data migration strategy and execution (extraction, transformation, validation,
reconciliation, cutover), including tools (FBDI, ADFDI, Oracle Data Integrator, ETL).
Architect reporting and analytics solution: OTBI, BI Publisher, Analytics Cloud, EDM/FDM,
Financial Data Model, and reconciliation approaches.
Define extensibility approach: Fast Form Extensions, Page Composer, Visual Builder Cloud
Service (VBCS), PaaS strategies, and recommended use of Oracle Cloud platform
services.
Ensure security, compliance and controls: roles/entitlements, segregation of duties,
encryption, audit trails, and adherence to SOX/GDPR/industry regulations.
Provide technical leadership during build/configure/test/run phases; perform design
reviews, code reviews, and enforce architecture standards.
Engage with stakeholders (CIO, CFO, PMO, business process owners, external vendors)
to validate architecture, manage expectations, and defend design tradeoffs.
Estimate effort, create solution-level artifacts (HLD/LLD, integration design documents,
interface catalogs, cutover plans), and contribute to bids/proposals.
Mentor architects, technical leads and senior consultants; drive reuse, automation, patterns
and best practices across projects.
Support post-go-live stabilization, runbook creation, and roadmaps for future
enhancements and cloud upgrades.
Required Experience & Qualifications
15+ years IT experience with at least 8-10 years focusing on Oracle Fusion Cloud
Financials implementations, including multiple full lifecycle projects.
Deep hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials modules: GL, AR, AP, Subledger
Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax, Receivables/Payables.
Proven experience designing integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP, SOAP adapters,
orchestration), and migration using FBDI/ADFDI/CSV, ETL tools.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud platform capabilities: OIC, VBCS, Visual Builder,
Integration Cloud, Identity Cloud Service, SOA, and related PaaS services.
Proficient with reporting solutions (OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics) and financial data
modeling.
Experience with security/controls frameworks and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR).
Demonstrable experience creating architecture artifacts: HLD/LLD, interface catalogs,
sequencing, cutover/rollout plans.
Excellent stakeholder management, presentation skills, and ability to lead workshops and
technical governance.
Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Preferred / Differentiators
Oracle Certified Master/Professional in relevant Oracle Cloud certifications.
Experience with Account Reconciliation (ARCS), EPM/Hyperion, or Oracle Cloud SCM
integrations.
Experience with large global rollouts, multi-currency, multi-ledger, and multi-GAAP
environments.
Prior experience in advisory roles, pre-sales solutioning, and project scoping/estimating.
