Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.

The Role:

Sr. Facility Planning Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing the facility’s cost planning, budgeting, and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). The role ensures accurate cost tracking, efficient maintenance planning, and data-driven decision-making to support reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of all facility assets.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and control the annual facility budget, including preventive maintenance, utilities, spare parts, and project-related costs.

  • Monitor actual spending vs. budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure cost efficiency.

  • Manage and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure accurate asset data, preventive maintenance plans, and spare parts records.

  • Generate and analyze maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, compliance rate, downtime, etc.) and issue regular performance reports.

  • Coordinate with Facility maintenance, engineering, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation for maintenance and projects.

  • Continuously improve the maintenance planning process by optimizing scheduling, resource allocation, and spare parts consumption.

  • Support in defining and updating the asset register, equipment hierarchy, and maintenance strategies within the CMMS.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through trend analysis, vendor performance evaluation, and lifecycle cost analysis.

  • Ensure data integrity, user training, and proper system usage across maintenance and facility teams.

  • Participate in the development of CapEx and OpEx proposals and provide cost analysis support for new initiatives.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification)

Educational and Experience Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).

  • 5 –7 years of experience in maintenance planning, cost control, or facility management.

  • Strong knowledge of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, or equivalent).

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and cost reporting tools.

  • Analytical mindset with strong data management and reporting skills.

  • Good understanding of maintenance budgeting, spare parts management, and reliability metrics.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
