Women’s Health and X‑ray is accelerating its digital transformation by expanding our portfolio of AI‑powered SaaS solutions. These new digital applications will build on our global footprint of Mammography (Mammo), Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT), and X‑ray systems—elevating traditional hardware into intelligent, connected platforms that unlock greater clinical insights and operational efficiency.
To bring this vision to life, we rely on strong cross‑functional leadership across our global engineering teams in North America, China, and Bangalore. This role plays a pivotal part in unifying these teams, driving alignment, and delivering breakthrough digital solutions that redefine the future of diagnostic imaging.
As the Sr. Engineering Manager, Digital AI, you will apply deep technical, domain, and process expertise to lead execution across multiple complex and interconnected programs. You will establish and uphold engineering and delivery standards, ensure projects are completed on time and within scope, and champion high‑quality outcomes. A core part of this role includes validating new concepts and technologies through rigorous scientific and engineering methods—translating innovation into scalable, real‑world impact.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team—including software, data science, and AI professionals—to design and deliver advanced digital and AI‑enabled solutions.
- Drive the integration of computer science, electronic engineering, and AI methodologies to build intelligent, scalable systems for diagnostic imaging.
- Provide strategic direction, influence technology roadmaps, and guide resource planning for global teams across North America, China, and Bangalore.
- Anticipate business and technical challenges; recommend best practices and innovative solutions that enhance product quality, reliability, and performance.
- Apply strong judgment to resolve complex engineering problems, evaluate data quality, and make informed, timely decisions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence stakeholders across functions.
- Lead or contribute to cross‑functional initiatives with varying levels of complexity; mentor teams and promote a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
- Champion innovation by identifying emerging technologies, driving process improvements, and supporting scalable digital growth.
- Collaborate closely with product, clinical, and business teams to define requirements and ensure delivery of high‑value AI‑powered products.
- Validate new concepts and technologies through rigorous scientific and engineering methods, ensuring feasibility and alignment with long‑term strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a STEM field and 4+ years of experience developing complex technology products,
or a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience. - Hands‑on experience developing or delivering AI‑driven products.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of influencing outcomes and guiding teams toward shared goals.

- Experience deploying production‑grade AI/ML models at scale and delivering measurable business impact.
- Ability to translate business challenges into ROI‑driven AI solutions, including end‑to‑end model lifecycle ownership.
- Experience in medical device development, medical imaging AI, robotics, or automated guidance systems is highly desirable.
- Strong presentation and executive‑level communication skills.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $152,000.00-$228,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
