The Sr. Educator is responsible for the development and implementation of clinical training programs to educate DaVita Integrated Kidney Care clinical teammates. The Sr. Educator optimizes knowledge transfer through training program facilitation and continuous improvement. The Sr. Educator builds partnerships with key teammates and stakeholders across departments to align cross-functional initiatives. The role ensures processes, programs, and special projects are efficiently developed, successfully launched, and trained to teammates.


Essential Duties & Responsibilites:

  • Develops, reviews, revises, and executes Integrated Kidney Care teammate-facing education materials

  • Drives projects and new process development in collaboration with the IKC Clinical Education & Training team, Subject Matter Experts, Model of Care, and other key operational leaders

  • Supports Clinical Education & Training processes, initiatives, and program implementations

  • Coaches and mentors new clinical Integrated Kidney Care teammates, including preceptors as appropriate

  • Provides timely submission of all reports and data collection requests

  • Facilitates all aspects of training as necessary; coordinates and maintains all logistics, as well as completes Teammate evaluations based on responsiveness to training

  • Orchestrates the virtual training experience by setting up online classrooms, managing digital training materials, and providing technical support to ensure a seamless learning environment for teammates

  • Facilitates remote (via Teams) and as needed, live team meetings, Q&A sessions, and refresher training to provide support to new and existing

  • Other duties as assigned


Education, Training, and Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 3 years of nephrology experience - Required Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, as well as functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications - Required

  • Prior experience in training through multiple mediums (live, web-based, self-directed, etc.) Required

  • Experience in CQI methodology and techniques - Preferred

  • Experience in basic instructional design - Preferred

  • Prior experience within DaVita Kidney Care and/or Integrated Kidney Care - Preferred

  • Basic project management skills - Preferred

  • Registered Nurse with current state licensure - Required

  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) Certificate or Case Management - Preferred

  • Travel: up to 30% Nights/Weekends: Overnight travel may be required

The Salary Range for the role is $78,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour

Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
