The Sr. Educator is a key contributor within the IKC Education & Training department. This individual executes on high-value workstreams of Consultation and Facilitation. is responsible for the development, implementation, and facilitation of comprehensive educational programs that support IKC leaders. 

The Sr. Educator optimizes knowledge transfer through training program facilitation, instructional design, and continuous improvement. This role supports departmental initiatives, assists in the onboarding lifecycle for new hires, and helps manage large-scale training events. The Sr. Educator builds partnerships with key stakeholders and IKC Leadership across departments to align cross-functional initiatives, identify educational gaps, drive professional development, and ensure processes and programs are successfully launched and trained to IKC leaders. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Education Strategy & Curriculum Development: Drives the development and delivery of course content, training materials, and educational policies in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and local market leadership. Oversees the creation and update of existing training materials to ensure clinical and organizational accuracy and relevance.

  • Facilitation & Training Delivery: Facilitates remote (via Teams) and, as needed, live team meetings, Q&A sessions, and refresher training to provide support to new and existing leaders. Orchestrates the virtual training experience by setting up online classrooms, managing digital training materials, and providing technical support. Designs and implements continuous professional development pathways for Leaders, ensuring access to growth opportunities.

  • Project Management & Operational Execution: Drives educational projects and new process development from conception to execution, utilizing standard project management methodologies to track timelines, resources, and deliverables. Collaborates with the IKC Education & Training team, Subject Matter Experts, and key operational leaders to track timelines, resources, and deliverables. Assists with the coordination, scheduling, and logistical execution of complex leadership development events and retreats.

  • Onboarding & Leader Integration: Supports the end-to-end strategy for onboarding programs, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires into the IKC culture. Assists in evaluating the effectiveness of onboarding curricula to improve time-to-productivity.

  • Administration & Reporting: Evaluates the effectiveness of onboarding curricula and adjusts content to improve time-to-productivity and retention rates. Provides timely submission of all reports, data collection requests, and program metrics to evaluate training ROI and effectiveness.

  • Coaching & Leadership Partnership: Coaches and mentors new Integrated Kidney Care teammates and emerging leaders

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience Required: 2-3 years 
    Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree (Education, Business, Communications, or related field preferred) 

  • Prior experience in training through multiple mediums (live, web-based, self-directed, etc.) Required

  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams as well as functional proficiency with LMS and DaVita-specific applications. Required

  • Experience in basic instructional design and adult learning principles. Required

  • Basic project management skills. Required (PMP or CAPM certification is preferred) 

  • Experience in CQI methodology and techniques. Preferred

  • Prior experience within DaVita Kidney Care and/or Integrated Kidney Care. Preferred

  • Experience in presenting to and partnering with leadership teams. Preferred

  • Up to 15-30% as needed for live training and events.

The Salary Range for the role is $78,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year.
