The Senior District Service Manager will oversee assigned service territories and service organizations within those regions. The role will support internal operations by facilitating service and order information required to meet customer needs and will foster effective communication and positive working relationships with team members to ensure a cohesive team effort in achieving both short- and long-term service goals.                                                                                               

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:

  • Manage and lead service rotational program

  • Oversee a substantial amount of service – related spending and budgeting

  • You will be the single-point contact between our service team and other aspects of the business (engineering etc.)

  • You will be responsible for coordinating regional training.

  • Assist Managing Service Providers

  • MGXP Representative

  • Meet or exceed established service performance goals for the district.

  • Analyze customer service coverage and work with them to ensure sufficient service resources and maximize their potential.

  • Assist in service rep development by improving technical knowledge and service delivery techniques.

  • Provide service tools to service reps such as product service guides, training materials, competitive analysis, and best practices documentation.

  • Analyze customer aftermarket service capabilities and collaborate to improve through training, new processes, and technology adoption.

  • Develop a strategy focused on improving service processes through the service order system, ensuring smooth execution.

  • Collaborate with service reps to ensure timely fulfillment of customer service appointments, warranty support, and resolution of service issues.

  • Collect and provide market intelligence and prepare service market share reports, offering insights to counter competitors’ advantages.

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual service performance forecasts.

  • Attend service demonstrations, and relevant industry conventions or promotional events.

  • Resolve issues regarding customer dissatisfaction related to service quality, warranty claims, parts shortages, and more.

  • Manage service expenses and budget forecasts.

  • Lead or participate in special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 4 years of experience or 10 years of relevant experience

  • Must be willing to travel

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments.

  • In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.

  • Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.

  • Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

Pay Range:

$118,700.00 - $211,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
