BRAFTOVI/MEKTOVI is positioned for significant growth with the recent approval of Pfizer's BRAFTOVI (encorafenib) in combination with cetuximab and fluorouracil-based chemotherapy for the first-line treatment of adult patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) harboring a BRAF V600E mutation. The Sr. Director, Team Lead for BRAFTOVI/MEKTOVI will lead a group of colleagues that support the BRAFTOVI/MEKTOVI colorectal and melanoma business and all pan-tumor activities.  BRAFTOVI® and MEKTOVI® are key growth brands within Pfizer Oncology, delivering differentiated value across multiple BRAF V600–mutant indications, including melanoma and colorectal cancer. The therapy competes in dynamic, high‑opportunity markets that demand strong commercial leadership, disciplined execution, and data‑driven strategy to outperform evolving standards of care. This team is responsible for leading U.S. brand strategy, accelerating performance, and maximizing the portfolio’s impact across indications and customer segments.

The role is ideally suited for an experienced, enterprise‑minded leader with deep US commercial marketing expertise and a strong track record of operating at scale. The successful candidate will lead and develop a high‑performing team of marketers while partnering closely with Global Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and the broader US Precision Medicine/Lung franchise team to deliver on the established go‑to‑market strategy that advances patient outcomes and drives sustainable franchise growth.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sr. Director, US Team Lead BRAFTOVI/MEKTOVI, reports to the Franchise Lead, Precision Medicine/Thoracic. This role requires an adaptable leader with strong US commercial marketing experience, capable of steering a high-performing team and collaborating across functions to execute an integrated, insight-driven go-to-market strategy that improves patient outcomes and supports franchise growth.

  • Provide direct leadership and mentorship to a team of director and senior manager-level marketers, cultivating a high-performance culture and unlocking the full potential of the brand.
  • Identify, assess, and execute strategic growth opportunities for the brand through detailed planning and data-informed decisions.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of annual strategic and tactical plans designed to support both immediate and long-term HCP and patient objectives, grounded in key customer insights.
  • Continuously measure and enhance the effectiveness of HCP marketing activities, generating actionable insights to fuel ongoing brand improvement.
  • Oversee all processes related to the brand’s annual operating, strategic, and tactical plans, and latest estimates, maintaining strong alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Partner with Lung Team Lead to drive pan-portfolio initiatives to maximize brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Analytics, Field Force, and prescribers to extract essential customer insights and translate them into robust commercial strategies.
  • Manage the brand’s advertising and promotion (A&P) budget and direct agency partnerships to guarantee operational excellence and financial stewardship.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of progressive pharmaceutical industry experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or a Ph.D./PharmD with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven commitment to fostering team engagement, cultivating a positive and collaborative culture, and mentoring talent.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience collaborating and interfacing with field sales, medical affairs, regulatory, and supply chain teams, ensuring seamless execution across all stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills: Outstanding strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to evaluate complex business opportunities, make informed trade-off decisions, and build compelling business cases to drive growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to work autonomously and effectively engage senior-level stakeholders, exercising sound judgment on escalation and ensuring strong alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Communication and Presentation: Superior oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to deliver clear, persuasive presentations and influence diverse audiences.
  • Leadership Impact: Demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experience, including influencing and collaborating with peers, coaching and developing others, and effectively overseeing and guiding the work of colleagues to achieve meaningful business outcomes.
  • Results Orientation: Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple, complex, and competing projects simultaneously. Highly self-motivated, driven by achieving results, and adept at organizing and prioritizing numerous projects over time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or other advanced degrees are desirable
  • Previous US Marketing experience preferred.
  • Oncology experience preferred but not required.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for congresses and customer engagements. Expected domestic travel 20%.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $214,900.00 to $358,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
