The Role:
 

Marigold is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead the team responsible for shaping our market identity, driving go-to-market excellence, and fueling growth across both our sales-led and product-led motions.

This highly strategic and visible role will play a pivotal part in repositioning Marigold within a rapidly evolving marketing technology landscape. The ideal leader will balance creative vision with operational precision—defining a differentiated narrative that connects deeply with our customers and drives meaningful business impact.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Reposition Marigold in the Market: Lead efforts to redefine and clarify Marigold’s identity, crafting a differentiated narrative that articulates our value, vision, and role as the modern marketing cloud.

  • Drive Go-To-Market Excellence: Own the GTM strategy for product and feature launches, ensuring verticalized use cases, proof points, and customer stories demonstrate measurable ROI.

  • Develop Vertical-Specific Strategies: Build and activate vertical positioning, messaging, and value frameworks in partnership with Sales and Growth Marketing to engage key industry segments.

  • Empower Sales and Customer Success: Collaborate across teams to develop persona maps, competitive insights, and vertical playbooks that align with each segment’s unique challenges.

  • Lead, Coach, and Scale the PMM Function: Mentor a talented team of product marketers, fostering operational excellence and a culture of curiosity, innovation, and accountability.

  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Influence at the executive level, aligning Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer insights translate into meaningful actions and measurable outcomes.

About You: 


You are a visionary marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution. You’re energized by transformation—adept at leading through change, crafting bold narratives, and building teams that elevate how a brand shows up in the world. You have deep empathy for customers, an analytical mindset, and the ability to connect insights to action.

Ideal Qualifications: 

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Product Marketing, with proven leadership in high-growth B2B SaaS or marketing technology organizations.

  • Demonstrated success operating in both sales-led and product-led environments.

  • Expertise in developing differentiated positioning and GTM strategies across multiple verticals.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with a record of influencing executive stakeholders.

  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation abilities.

  • Experience building and scaling Product Marketing teams and fostering high performance through mentorship.

Nice to Have: 

  • Background in repositioning or transforming company narratives in evolving markets.

  • Experience in vertical pipeline acceleration and creation of industry-specific sales materials.

  • Passion for customer-centric innovation and market insight-driven strategies.

California SB 1162 Pay Transparency Notice

In compliance with California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162), we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that could be performed in California.

For California residents only, the base salary range for this role is $180,000 – $200,000 annually.  This role is also eligible for a 15% annual bonus based on performance and company results.

This range reflects the base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for the position in California. Actual compensation will be offered within this range, based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as permitted by California law.

Similar positions located outside of California may be subject to different compensation structures.
