What You Will Achieve
As the GRS Business Capabilities Lead, you will be at the forefront of shaping and driving strategic initiatives that will have a profound impact on our global regulatory value chain. Business capabilities describe what GRS does to deliver value to its customers, stakeholders and partners. Business capabilities are the core abilities of organization to achieve its objectives and deliver value (e.g. Regulatory Strategy, CMC, Labeling, etc.). Each business capability has its own strategy and roadmap that spans across process, data and technology. All of the business capabilities inform but also follow GRS’s overall strategy and roadmap. This role will ensure the development and management of the capabilities' strategy, roadmap, and execution. This includes the optimization of capabilities to drive consistency in ways of working across GRS including KPIs and value realization tracking. How You Will Achieve It
Strategic Leadership & Initiative Development: Identify, develop, and lead key strategic initiatives. Collaborate with senior leadership (LT) to shape and maintain a forward-looking strategy and operating plan for the business capabilities.
Business Partner to Executive Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to executive leadership team members, offering regulatory insights that inform high-level decision-making. Actively participate in executive-level discussions, providing expertise to guide company direction and risk management. Partner with leadership to align strategies with long-term business objectives and operational priorities.
Lead and develop a high-performing team by providing clear direction, regular feedback, and growth opportunities aligned with individual career goals and organizational needs
Mentor and help develop a similar RIDGE team in Asia ensuring an aligned Business Capabilities function
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with executive cross functional leaders to identify, define and align on initiatives, strategies and joint outcomes. Act as a key liaison providing insights on trends, risks, and opportunities. Ensuring transparent communication of strategic initiatives across all relevant stakeholders.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and metrics to assess the impact of strategies and make data-driven recommendations to optimize performance
Mentorship & Team Development: Provide guidance and support to the team in identifying opportunities for strategic growth and professional development
Forms productive alliances with PRD colleagues and Digital to ensure alignment and technical solutions are sourced to address GRS’ most pressing business challenges
Create and maintain the strategy for a collaborative program of continuous improvement within the organization

Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business, Science, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in strategic thinking and problem-solving
12+ years of experience or Master's/MBA with 10+years of experience
Proven track record in strategy consulting or a similar role
Experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies
Strong leadership skills, with a knack for inspiring and motivating your team towards achieving their goals
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
Adept at stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization
Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of regulatory affairs and compliance
Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile methodology experience
