General Purpose of the Job

The Sr Manager, ERS Advisory leads the Advisory function within Enterprise Risk Services, supporting DaVita’s mission to deliver strategic risk management and advisory services across the organization. This role is responsible for driving the development and execution of advisory projects that enhance operational effectiveness, compliance, and risk mitigation. The Sr Manager partners with business leaders to identify opportunities, design solutions, and deliver insights that support DaVita’s strategic objectives. The position fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the ERS Advisory team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the ERS Advisory team, providing direction, coaching, and performance management to direct reports.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of advisory projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risk areas, develop mitigation strategies, and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on risk and compliance matters.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the Advisory team’s practices remain current and effective.
  • Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and relevant committees.
  • Support the development and implementation of ERS policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Ensure quality and consistency in project documentation, reporting, and deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in risk management, advisory, audit, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of management experience leading teams or projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Language Skills: Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.

Work Environment: Level III – Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic). Visual: Vision adequate to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of position.

Physical Demands: Physical requirements can vary. These must be reviewed with management. However, in general, the position requires the following activities: 

  • Ability to lift minimum of 5 lbs to a max of 50 lbs unassisted and able to stand, sit, stoop, walk, stretch, reach, and use full range of body motions. 
  • Manual dexterity as required for specific equipment and ability to use computer keyboard and peripherals.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $157,000.00 - $226,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
