The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Creative Director / Sr. Director, Solve Studio, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead and optimize creative studio operations, driving resource planning, workflow efficiency and implementation of best-in-class tools and systems to scale services effectively.

  • Champion operational excellence, identifying and executing process improvements while serving as the escalation point for challenges and ensuring proactive resolution.

  • Manage financial performance, including agency P&L, budget forecasting and reporting to deliver cost efficiency and maximize ROI.

  • Shape and uphold creative vision and brand integrity, ensuring all output meets the highest standards of excellence, strategic alignment and compliance with brand standards, regulatory requirements and governance.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders, translating business objectives into creative strategies that drive growth and brand value, while cultivating strong, trust-based relationships across the enterprise.

  • Represent the creative studio at executive forums, influencing resource allocation and advocating for creative solutions.

  • Inspire and develop a high-performing team of creative and operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation and bold, effective creative risk-taking.

  • Support internal teams – including human resources, communications, sales and others – by delivering tailored creative solutions for employee engagement, communications, events and initiatives that amplify brand values and drive cross-functional alignment.

  • Collaborate with external partners – including creative agencies, contractors, media agencies, production companies, freelance talent, technology vendors and design studios – to supplement internal capabilities, ensure access to specialized expertise and deliver high-quality creative solutions that align with brand standards and business objectives.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 15+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership and internal agency operations.

  • OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND 19+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership and internal agency operations.

AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Proven track record managing P&L and budgets for creative or marketing organizations.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading high-performing global teams

  • Deep understanding of the creative process, including how to protect and nurture creative talent while maintaining delivery discipline and rigor.

  • Strong ability to influence senior executives and communicate operational and creative impact.

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, including experience building high-performing teams..

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field from an accredited institution.

  • Five (5) years of experience representing creative organizations at the executive level and influencing enterprise strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain senior-level partnerships and drive cross-functional alignment.

  • Expertise in workflow design, resource allocation and operational efficiency

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $259,007 - $316,564, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
