Sr Director, AI Enablement Product & Platforms
Location: Atlanta GA. This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Sr Director, AI Enablement Product & Platforms is responsible for leading the strategic integration and enablement of AI across our diverse health services portfolio. Reporting to the Staff VP of Product Platforms and AI Platforms, this role requires a dynamic leader capable of collaborating across all products and platforms and with business clinical product owners across Health, Insights, Rx and Operations to identify and implement innovative AI use cases. Will serve as a strategic consultant, inspiring clinical product leaders to embrace AI-driven enhancements that elevate product capabilities.
How You Will Make an Impact:
• Develop, implement, and oversee a competitive products and product platform strategy with a focus on AI integration to drive innovation and operational excellence.
• Will drive the adoption of AI, Carelon’s AI Governance, AI Enablement of PLM, transforming our clinical products and platforms to deliver groundbreaking health service solutions.
• Partner with product managers and clinical product leaders, offering strategic advice and consulting on AI deployment to elevate product capabilities and adoption rates.
• Collaborate with Elevance Health's Digital Platforms & AI Office and Carelon's IT organization to build and deploy AI solutions that resonate with business objectives.
• Track individual product performance, identifying opportunities for AI enhancement by analyzing benefit design, market segment, and sub-region metrics.
• Support the development of both short- and long-term strategic plans, aligning them with AI-driven market, sales, and profitability objectives.
• Identify and communicate system needs to support AI strategy, develop system requirements and measure ROI for AI initiatives.
• Lead and manage project teams through complex, enterprise-wide initiatives, including AI strategy implementation, portfolio repositioning, and legislative or policy changes as they pertain to AI deployment.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
• Strategic thinking skills with a deep understanding of AI's potential within clinical product environments is strongly preferred.
• Experience developing innovative AI enhancements to clinical products and platforms is preferred.
• Experience fostering high-level business conversations that translate into actionable AI opportunities for the product portfolio is preferred.
• Healthcare Product development and management experiences with clinical products and related product platforms such as utilization management, case management, care management, and disease management is preferred.
• Experience developing clinical products for health plans or health services is preferred.
• Successful experience working in a complex, matrixed business environment is preferred.
• MBA preferred.
