As part of our global team, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee department operations within a region or specified business unit. As an Sr Director Clinical Data Management, you'll participate in cross-functional initiatives and drive the implementation of innovative process improvements within the department. You will oversee the resources and workloads across portfolios with a focus on overall departmental strategy and quality standards. You will provide leadership within the department and collaborate cross-functionally. Additionally, you may interact with customers to ensure appropriate communications and build strong customer relationships. You will also provide business development support as required.
What You’ll Do:
• Manages higher level staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime.
• Provides strategic leadership to support company goals and objectives
• Maintains proper communications and relationships with other departments and sponsors.
• Drives development of processes and oversees implementation.
• Reviews profitability.
• Drives cross-functional communications, department /company initiatives and strategies focusing on innovation, operational efficiency and expansion of the departments global footprint.
• May act as senior liaison and strategic expert for allocated clients and may provide governance and oversight.
• Oversees project deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and to support the organization's revenue growth. Ensures that projects are properly resourced, managed and executed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 20+ years).
• 10+ years of management responsibility

• Strong leadership skills and executive presence
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence executive team members
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues on multiple projects simultaneously
• Firm knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, fiscal management and financial reporting process for projects and department
• Ability to build relationships and effective teams with a strong global and cultural awareness, including ability to drive cross-functional communications, initiatives and strategies
• Expertise in motivating and integrating teams, as well as excellent coaching and mentoring skills
• Proven knowledge and ability to provide dynamic strategy in business development and bid activities
• Ability to work on extremely complex problems where analysis requires evaluating various factors
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Technical understanding of deparment applications and systems
