The Sr. Digital Acquisition Manager – Segments, Digital Capabilities will be accountable for leading the strategic & tactical planning/ development of digital acquisition for Segments and helping to manage and accelerate the delivery of digital acquisition capabilities in Canada.

As a line of business digital lead, the role will champion paid digital programs end-to-end from inception through launch and develop over-arching strategy across all digital channels to meet the acquisition goals with a holistic view on the customer.

  • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Conducts various pre-implementation and post-implementation analyses to estimate/measure campaign/program impact e.g., revenue increase, cost reduction, corporate brand image favourability.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Identifies optimization opportunities through the interpretation of customer insights and campaign/program performance measurement.
  • Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Validates and tests models used in marketing measurement and reporting to assess/address performance and compliance. Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions; may include campaign planning, content and creative development, monitoring/optimization and campaign reporting.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of BMO channels and implications to marketing programs and communications
  • Hands-on experience with Google Marketing Platform –Campaign Manager, DV360, SA360, GA4
  • Hands-on experience with self-serve advertising platforms – Google Ads, Meta, etc.
  • Experience working with digital analytics – Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
  • Experience working with marketing tech solutions – DMP, SFMC, attribution modeling tools
  • Ability to report/evaluate the media performance results and drive insights for the business
  • Experience working in an Advertising Agency/managing an Agency an asset

  • Knowledge and experience in financial services.
  • Post-secondary degree in business, marketing or communications related discipline.

Salary:

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
