About the Job

  • Guide progress of the category through the best fit, fabric, fit, finish, style and lifestyle athleisure development
  • Research and monitor the consumer and marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competition
  • Manage team to develop on-brand, trend-right product that inspires equity and profitability for the Beyond Yoga brand and upholds our aesthetic standards.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Director in developing seasonal concepts and color stories.
  • Understand current selling and consider when developing into future trends
  • Manage team execution of data integrity: protos, commercial samples and production
  • Develop relationships, leading collaboration and partnerships within Design, and across Merchandising, and Product Development
  • Develop the strategy and progress to meet seasonal product assortment needs and COGS targets
  • Strategize and lead GTM timelines, processes and deliverables
  • Design product with a sustainable mindset and andNet Positive without compromising aesthetics
  • Promote technical design packs communicating style, size, proportion, scale, and manage fittings and product development

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, or a combination of college education and industry-related work experience may be used as a substitute
  • 8+ years experience as a designer, responsible for all facets of design
  • 4+ yrs experience specifically as a women's athleisure designer
  • Expertise in textiles and product development; working knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, denim fabric construction, finishing techniques, and processes
  • Proficient on all design platforms – Adobe CC

This is a hybrid position based in our Culver City, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $98,000 - $147,000 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
