What you’ll be doing

As the Senior Consultant in Procurement, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities within the Procurement Sourcing team, focusing primarily on indirect spend to support IT (including on-premise software, software as a service, IT consulting, managed services, technology deliverable services) and non-IT categories across CIBC’s Technology and Security SBUs.

You will develop and present procurement strategy recommendations as part of advisory services to clients, informed by business requirements and industry analysis. You will lead, negotiate, execute, and implement medium- to high-complexity procurement initiatives (including requests for proposals and other supplier evaluation tools), while ensuring CIBC risks are mitigated, regulatory requirements and CIBC policies are followed, and organizational costs are optimized. You will also develop contract content independently or in partnership with legal resources, lead negotiation strategy alignment, manage contract negotiations, and secure authorizations for agreement execution.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
