What you'll be doing
As a member of CIBC’s Business Effectiveness team, the Sr. Consultant, Business Systems Analysis supports the interpretation of business and technical requirements by participating in client review sessions and assisting in the assessment of technology solutions to meet business objectives. In this role, you will contribute to documenting and facilitating activities that enable the effective application of new technologies to improve existing processes and address client needs. You will work collaboratively with team members to resolve a variety of business and technical challenges, applying analytical thinking to develop practical solutions and support organizational goals.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Relationship Management: Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, including resource teams, finance, internal ESD product owners, and flow managers, to build strong collaborative relationships. Applying a continuous improvement mindset to everything we do and being assertive about raising new and innovative ideas.
Who you are
You can demonstrate 5-10 years experience in. Business Systems Analysis role, supporting projects and large programs. Ability to elicit requirements and write strong documentation. Excellent abilities to manage stakeholders and having strong communication skills is a must. You have strong abilities around analyzing and understanding data, as well as gap analysis expertise. You have strong problem solving skills, stakeholder management abilities, and exceptional organizational skills. It’s an asset if you have at least 2 years of Confluence/Jira experience writing user stories, and have experience with Agile delivery, methodologies and practices. Must have skills in: Power BI , advanced expertise in with hands-on experience in report migration and validation. Comprehensive System Knowledge, Familiarity with the Demand system, CAI, and Excel, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data management. Financial Acumen, strong understanding of both one-time and ongoing financial models, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information as part of the data portfolio.
