Replacement Justification:
The new Senior Commercial Lead will be responsible for the following critical functions:

  • Responsibility for key raw materials: insulation material, springs, aluminum wire, and wire harnesses.
  • Lead the insourcing initiative and manage trade war impacts by transitioning 102 items (under the 2-body concept) from USA to local sources, including raw insulation material, spring, wire harnesses & etc.
  • Manage ESI, RFQ, QI, and SER processes with engineers, suppliers, and the BU.
  • Conduct cost evaluations and manage Blanket Purchase Agreements to ensure smooth BU order releases.
  • Oversee cost, benchmarking, and cost of physical materials.
  • Address and resolve supplier shortages, particularly from critical suppliers.
  • Control material inflation and support budget preparation.
  • Review supplier performance ratings and drive improvement actions.
  • Improve cash flow by extending supplier payment terms and promoting payment via bank draft.
  • Drive digitization initiatives and conduct risk management.
  • Develop new suppliers as needed, managing NDA, SAQ, SRF, SCOC, KYS, and SQDP processes.
  • Manage tooling assets.
