About the Role:

Are you an experienced cloud infrastructure engineer who thrives on keeping mission-critical systems running smoothly? Do you have experience building DeTest environments and a passion for working with cloud technologies?

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on the TechOps CICD Infrastructure team, you'll be helping to deploy and operate the infrastructure that powers the CrowdStrike software factory. You'll be working with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud to build test environments for CrowdStrike products and developers. We'll look to you to help continue to refine our hybrid cloud infrastructure patterns for our development team

What You’ll Do:

  • Design & Build: Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions using modern DevOps toolchains

  • Implement comprehensive evaluation strategies for SLMs focused around MLOps

  • Reliability Engineering: Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for our owned services

  • Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices and provide technical guidance through pipeline creation and optimizatio

What You'll Need:

  • Experience building VPCs, route tables, and security groups

  • Experience connecting VPCs to on premise infrastructure

  • Experience managing compute resources, with shared and dedicated tenancy

  • Experience troubleshooting instance provisioning failures or network connectivity issues

  • Experience sizing instance types based on workload requirements

  • Experience with capacity planning and cost optimization in cloud environments

  • Experience with building Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using
Terraform and Ansible

  • Understanding of CICD patterns and processes

  • Ability to document processes/procedures

  • Experience utilizing source-code repositories utilizing git (e.g. Bitbucket, Gitlab, etc.)

  • Ability to understand scripts and programs for automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards, alarms. (common uses: Python, Go)

  • Ability to perform code-review for quality and adherence to company style guides

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with IBM Cloud and Power Virtual Servers

  • Experience running native Windows client instances on Azure and GCP

  • Experience with managed Kubernetes clusters across major cloud providers

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in a large-scale production environment

  • Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
