Our New Market, MD office is looking for a Sr Client Service Associate to serve as the liaison between the client and the Financial Advisor (FA). This role is a vital part of our team and works with all aspects of the client experience including account administration and facilitating smooth client interactions.
This role is an on-site position. There may be opportunity for a hybrid schedule after completing training. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. The role is also eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus. We encourage you to apply and provide us with your compensation expectations when you do. Primary Job Functions
New Client Onboarding
Ensure accurate completion and setup of prospect and new client paperwork
Follow up on fund transfers from external institutions
Maintain CRM records in Salesforce
Research and resolve issues with the Broker/Dealer, Wealth Enhancement Group (WEG) Operations, and vendors
Record incoming assets using the appropriate tracking tools
Client Relationship Management
Engage in dialogue with clients to understand their history and financial needs
Prepare and process account transactions, including trades, deposits, withdrawals, and RMDs
Communicate and determine next steps for client requests, addressing issues directly or involving the advisor as needed
Collaborate with clients' tax or legal counsel to resolve client concerns
Client Review Preparation and Follow Up
Gather client data and prepare materials for client meetings and reviews
Conduct tax-related research, such as verifying 1099 forms
Complete any necessary follow-up for client requests
Industry and Company Knowledge
Demonstrate understanding and accurate execution of WEG’s Suitability Guidelines, operational processes, and sales models
Apply knowledge of financial terminology and related products
Utilize working proficiency with annuities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed income, stocks, options, alternative investments, hedge funds, and charitable giving practices
Attend Client Services and company educational events
Team and Corporate Support
Assist Advisor Team Operations to streamline internal processes
Complete operational projects in support of process enhancements and organizational changes
Communicate process and sales updates to team members
All other duties as assigned.
Education /Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) preferred
3+ years of professional experience preferred
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Organization skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workflow and projects
Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
Self-starter, self-motivated and results driven
Builds/maintains effective relationships with clients
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required
Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
Fidelity and Schwab custodial platform experience preferred
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Associate level is $51,450.00 to $84,000.00. However, the base salary range bolded above ($60,000.00 to $70,000.00) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
