Sr Brand Manager Cardiometabolic
This is a unique opportunity to shape one of the most dynamic frontiers in cardiometabolic health, the GP ecosystem and the future launch of oral obesity therapy. As Brand Manager, you will design and drive the strategy that expands our primary care footprint, orchestrate cross-functional execution, and build the narrative around a first-in-class oral obesity therapy. This role is for someone who thrives in complexity, sees patterns before others do, and wants to leave a visible mark on how we transform care in Romania.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Management
Develop and implement comprehensive brand plans, including market analysis, segmentation, positioning, messaging, and lifecycle management strategies for assigned cardiometabolic products.
Marketing Program Development & Execution:
Lead the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, professional, patient-focused), ensuring alignment with brand strategy and regulatory guidelines.
Market & Competitive Intelligence: continuously monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities and threats, and adapt brand strategies accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with sales, medical affairs, market access, regulatory, and global marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies and achievement of business objectives.
Budget Management: manage and optimize marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and demonstrable return on investment.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis: track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand performance, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Builds and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and other external stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Development: potentially mentor and guide junior marketing team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Compliance: ensure all marketing activities adhere to internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field required. Master's degree (MBA) preferred.
Experience: minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing
Industry Knowledge: in-depth understanding of the Romanian pharmaceutical market, healthcare system, and regulatory environment.
Strategic Thinking: proven ability to develop and execute complex marketing strategies that drive brand growth and market share.
Analytical Skills: strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
Communication & Presentation Skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration & Influence: strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
Digital Marketing Acumen: experience with digital marketing strategies and tools within the pharmaceutical industry.
Language: fluency in both Romanian and English is essential.
