ROLE SUMMARY
As part of the Chief Marketing Organization the Sr. Associate, Paid Search will be part of the Performance Marketing team. This individual will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of Pfizer’s search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns. The role is designed for individuals who have already mastered the basic principles of paid search and are ready for increased responsibility when it comes to campaign creation and performance. The Sr. Associate will be part of our newly created In-House team, which leads paid search from strategy to implementation. The ideal candidate will act as the day-to-day steward of activation activities with a proven track record in hands-on management and optimization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of Pfizer search accounts such as performance monitoring, account optimization, and budget pacing.
Creation of paid search keyword lists and ad copy according to brand requirements, website content, paid search best practice and Pfizer DRT guidelines.
Involvement in the legal review submission process at Pfizer, with the expectation of submitting and tracking pieces for review, making revisions based on feedback, and closely following important dates for use and expiration.
Management of all launch activities, i.e., trafficking, uploading, and QAing new materials once approved.
Completion of in-depth market, keyword, and competitive research to inform campaign planning.
Data extraction and campaign analysis including the identification of trends, insights, and areas for optimization on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis.
Expertise and advanced utilization of Paid Search platforms/tools i.e., Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, Google Ads Editor, SEMrush.
Collaboration with Paid Search Managers and Senior Managers on project management and prioritization of tasks across a dynamic set of brands.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a master’s; OR an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; OR a High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience.
Proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, and Google Ads Editor.
Familiarity with optimizing and adjusting automated bid strategies i.e., conversion-based bidding, value-based bidding.
Strong analytical abilities with the capability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain performance results and rationale for account changes made.
Experience with MS Excel functions i.e., VLOOKUP, pivot tables.
Ability to collaborate well with multiple stakeholders across different projects under strict deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the Pharma vertical preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of relevant experience.
