As a Senior Associate, , Information Systems Operations Management,
you will be primarily responsible for ensuring IT systems are efficient, secure, and optimized for performance.
In this role, a typical day will include:
• Monitor IT system performance and recommend improvements for optimization
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain business continuity
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to align systems with business requirements
• Assist in designing and implementing system enhancements and contribute to developing operational strategies to improve system reliability
• Make decisions on day-to-day operational issues and recommend system improvements while working under the guidance of senior team members for complex decision-making
• Ensure infrastructure standards, global policies and guidelines are followed locally, and drive standardization of non-standard local infrastructure services.
• Ensure adherence to IT, security and compliance standards/requirement set out and defined by external regulatory bodies, Alcon IT and/or Quality Organization.
• Operational and management tasks includes and not limited to the following:
capacity, incident, problem, change, patch and lifecycle management
owns and maintains IT operational procedures
supports crisis management (including priority 1/2 IT incidents) with relevant stakeholders and Head of IT, if required
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including project management, service management, vendor management, financial management.
Experience managing IT infrastructure in a regulated environment (e.g. manufacturing facility) an advantage
Strong hands-on knowledge of IT strategy and architectural standards, especially virtual environments and network segmentation / security standards (ISO 27001).
Sound knowledge and practical expertise in Service Level Management
