Sr. Associate, In-Store S&O

Atlanta, GA; Tempe, AZ Full Time

About the Team

Strategy & Operations is the engine that drives the DoorDash business forward. We lead priority areas for the company, develop strategies, and drive business outcomes through deep problem solving and strong execution. DoorDash embraces and invests in this function because of our belief in an ownership mentality — our employees don’t just design strategy, they bring it to life.

Within Strategy & Operations, the In-Store team focuses on driving DoorDash customers into our partners’ physical stores, boosting sales and building long-term loyalty across every channel. We are bringing new use cases into the DoorDash app, including Reservations.

About the Role

DoorDash is looking for a hands-on, ownership-minded Strategy & Operations Senior Associate to drive growth on our DoorDash Reservations Marketplace.  In this role, you will be responsible for defining and operationalizing how merchants grow their reservations on DoorDash.

This role sits at the intersection of Strategy & Operations, Merchant Success, Marketing, and Product. You will turn ambiguous problems into clear playbooks, design repeatable growth motions, and ensure our internal teams are enabled to execute consistently and effectively.

You will report to a Strategy & Operations Senior Manager within the In-Store team. This is a hybrid role with time spent in person and remote.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own growth strategy and execution by building and scaling playbooks across onboarding, launch, and ongoing performance.
  • Design and test scrappy, high-impact growth initiatives that drive impact and performance beyond standard playbooks.
  • Analyze merchant performance and marketplace data to identify growth opportunities, diagnose issues, and prioritize the highest-impact initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchant Success, Marketing, Product, and Enablement to operationalize merchant growth, co-marketing, and in-app merchandising.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 3+ years of working experience in strategy, operations, analytics, consulting, or a related field.
  • You’re creative — you enjoy tackling new problems and don’t default to “this is how it’s always been done.”
  • You’re a go-getter — you have a strong bias toward action, are comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, and are comfortable owning problems end-to-end
  • You’re analytical — you enjoy diving deep into data and translating insights into action; you have experience working with Excel and/or SQL.
  • You can think like a consumer and operate with merchants — you’re able to balance customer-first thinking while working directly with top merchants to drive growth and performance.
  • You’re a collaborator — you’re an excellent communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with teammates and cross-functional partners.
