Sr. Associate – Brand Creative Production
Role + Purpose
The Sr. Associate, Brand Creative Production manages the end-to-end execution of editorial and social photoshoots from pre-production through final asset delivery. This role is responsible for translating creative vision into organized, well-run productions — proactively identifying needs, solving problems before they escalate, and ensuring every shoot is delivered on time, on budget, and at a high creative standard.
This role reports to the Director, Brand Creative Production and partners closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the planning and execution of monthly editorial and social media photo & video shoots from concept through final delivery. Including booking talent and crew, negotiating rates, managing equipment and prop orders, location scouting, travel coordination, call sheets, and on-set management, and working with external production partners when needed.
Proactively identify production needs, flag risks early, and propose solutions before issues impact timeline, budget, or creative.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, photographers, videographers, stylists, glam teams, and locations to support evolving brand needs.
Develop and manage detailed production schedules that align creative goals with realistic timelines and resources.
Partner with Creative and Production on casting, ensuring options are thoughtfully curated and aligned with brand direction.
Manage shoot budgets in partnership with the Director, including invoice tracking, expense reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
Work cross-functionally with the Post Production team to manage image retouching and video editing workflows, ensuring assets are delivered on time and aligned with creative expectations.
Provide consistent, clear status updates on timelines, deliverables, and potential challenges — without needing to be asked.
Support Director with larger seasonal campaigns and special projects as needed.

Qualifications
5+ years of photoshoot production experience in a creative or brand environment.
Proven ability to manage projects independently with strong follow-through.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
Strong problem-solving instincts and sound decision-making under pressure.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience with talent management, casting, and vendor negotiations preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Keynote, Figma Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace preferred.
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including early call times, late wrap times, and occasional travel based on shoot needs.

Salary Range: $72,500.00 - $89,750.00At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks.
