Sr Architect

We are seeking a Senior Architect to join our Infrastructure Architecture team. This role requires a strategic leader who can work across multiple architecture domains to design and deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and the ability to influence enterprise technology strategy. This role will develop and manage roadmaps and technical designs, govern implementations and ensure alignment to our standards by applying a broad understanding of broad set of architectural domains (data, infrastructure, applications and security).

Key Responsibilities

Major areas of accountability:

 

- Infrastructure Architecture across multiple domains including such as Cloud services, AI, Integration etc..

- Strategy and Roadmap Development

- Design of Repeatable Patterns

- Risk Assessment

- Decision Facilitation

- Developing and Managing Architecture Standards

  • Develop current to future state architecture roadmaps. Align and promote enterprise technology (data, infrastructure, applications and security) principles and strategy. Establish, maintain and apply architecture standards, disciplines and principles.

  • Use appropriate design techniques and methodologies to translate requirements into detailed designs, consistent with platform strategy and roadmaps.

  • Determine architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, security and business/functional requirements.

  • Research and recommend technology to improve current capabilities. Ensure capabilities are reviewed and compliant with appropriate levels of risk across multiple domains including infrastructure, security to hardware/software currency, performance/availability, security and information/transaction integrity and drive the awareness of required improvements.

  • Maintain deep expertise in architectural modeling, frameworks, emerging technologies, and best practices.  Mentor and develop less experienced technical staff. Provide technical leadership. Recommend new procedures and processes to drive desired results on diverse projects.  Perform industry research with external parties and maintain networks amongst peers.

  • Partner with other architects to ensure alignment and integration across architecture domains. Develop and build strong relationships within and across the lines of business and use effective communication skills to influence and accomplish strategic architecture objectives.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (4-years) in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field; or related work experience.

  • 5-7+ years of relevant work experience required.

  • Deep experience in public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure and GCP

  • Broad experience across architecture practices (data, infrastructure, applications and security) with depth of experience in at least one area.

  • Knowledge of Enterprise-wide architecture and ability to 'see the big picture' and how it affects current and future technologies.

  • Internal/External consulting experience that spans organizational boundaries and includes influencing technology and business leaders.

  • Depth of experience in the architecture, design, implementation and support of complex enterprise solutions.

  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and process improvements.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant knowledge and have one or more areas of concentrated technical expertise.

  • Demonstrated ability to explain highly technical solutions to technical and non-technical teams.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $122,000 - $161,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
