Job Title: Sr Application Engineer

Reports to: Application Engineering Director
Job Overview:
This is a great opportunity for a technical engineer to join a highly skilled Application Engineering team in a leading EDA company, working with cutting‑edge tools, advanced technologies, and the most innovative semiconductor companies in the industry.
We are looking for someone who is curious, keen to learn, apply new knowledge, and grow!
Job Responsibilities:
- Support customers with adoption and deployment of Cadence Custom IC design flow built on Virtuoso and Spectre platforms.
- Engage with customers to understand their design challenges and propose technical solutions, guidance on methodology and best practices.
- Drive technical campaigns, product demonstrations, evaluations and benchmarking in a customer‑facing and technically stimulating environment.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering and Marketing teams to drive product improvements and increase proliferation of Cadence solutions.
Opportunities for growth:
- Acquire a strong technical understanding of the complete custom IC design flow.
- Deepen expertise in mixed‑signal design methodologies and advanced EDA tools.
- Build long‑term customer relationships.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Cadence flows and methodologies.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Solid understanding of analog or mixed‑signal IC design flows within Cadence Virtuoso Studio environment.
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in IC design, CAD, or application / technical support roles.
- Experience in UNIX environment.
- Knowledge of SKILL, Python, or similar scripting languages is an advantage.
- Good problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
