Sr. Analyst- Supply Chain Operations
The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Operations is responsible for overseeing supplier performance, product quality, and technical compliance across Niagara Bottling’s beverage co-manufacturing network. This role serves as a key liaison between manufacturing sites, external suppliers, and internal procurement, quality, and operations teams—ensuring materials and finished products consistently meet specifications, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.
The Senior Analyst will investigate quality or performance issues, conduct structured problem-solving, and coordinate resources to drive timely and effective resolution. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, operational awareness, project coordination, and influential leadership to support continuous improvement across the external supply base.
Essential Functions
- Supplier Performance & Quality Management
- Monitor, analyze, and report supplier performance metrics, including quality, on-time delivery, material compliance, and issue resolution.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and lead discussions on corrective actions, improvement plans, and risk mitigation.
- Support the qualification, evaluation, and ongoing management of packaging, ingredient, and component suppliers.
- Technical & Operational Expertise
- Understand and interpret technical specifications for labels, corrugate, packaging components, and other materials—including thickness, dimensional requirements, material composition, and functional performance.
- Partner with product development, engineering, and quality teams to ensure materials meet design intent and functional criteria.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and supplier technical resources.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Problem Solving
- Lead cross-functional teams (manufacturing, procurement, QA, engineering, logistics) through structured problem-solving processes to resolve supplier or co-manufacturing issues.
- Identify key stakeholders, coordinate resources, and ensure clear ownership of deliverables and action plans.
- Use data-driven approaches to define problems, validate hypotheses, and track corrective actions to closure.
- Influence & Accountability
- Drive accountability across internal teams and external partners without direct authority.
- Facilitate alignment on priorities, timelines, and expectations to ensure issues are addressed with urgency.
- Present performance insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear, structured manner.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of issues, corrective actions, audits, and supplier communication.
- Support documentation of standards, work instructions, technical guidelines, and supplier-related SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality management system requirements.
- This position requires travel up to 50%.
