The Logistics Specialist will support the operations of Raytheon’s new Coyote program located in the Tawazun Industrial Park (TIP). The Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing all inbound and outbound material flows, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory accuracy, full traceability, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The role acts as a key interface between Procurement, Quality, Planning, Customs and Global Trade to support logistical requirements

What You Will Do:

  • Inbound / Outbound Shipments
  • Lead all inbound receiving activities, ensuring materials are received in accordance with PO and its contractual requirements.
  • Verify quantity, part numbers, revisions levels, batch/lot numbers, shelf-life data against delivery documentation prior to system receipt. Ensure materials are identified, labelled, and segregated correctly upon receipt.
  • Resolve receiving issues or holds in coordination with Procurement and suppliers. Coordinate with Quality for incoming inspection on receiving materials, and NCR handling.
  • Ensure timely GRN posting in ERP systems to support planning, inventory accuracy and financial reconciliation.
  • Oversee all shipping and dispatch activities, ensuring all shipments are on time and complaint to customers, regulatory, and QMS requirements.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of the shipping documentation like delivery notes, certificates, packing lists, labelling and customs paperwork.
  • Coordinate with Logistics, Freight forwarders and TIP security to facilitate material transfer in and out of TIP.
  • Inventory Management & Control
  • Own inventory control activities, ensure stock accuracy, visual markings, correct transactions and right material movement.
  • Ensure the material is stored in designated location in warehouse. Follow storage requirements as per OEM and proper labelling to ensure traceability to source.
  • Monitor bin location management, barcode scanning, and MRP updates to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
  • Control and manage shelf-life controlled items, including FIFO compliance.
  • Conduct and supervise cycle counts, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Follow EHS guidelines for material handling and storage of hazardous items. Coordinate with service provider for waste collection and disposal.
  • Operational Support
  • Coordinate material kitting in line with production plans and work orders. Ensure material availability aligns with planning and production plan.
  • Support point of use, kanban and milk-cart operations to ensure timely material supply to production lines.
  • Collaborate with Planning and Production teams to support production priorities and delivery commitments.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Procurement on shortages, discrepancies, and supplier delivery issues.
  • Serve as a primary contact across Supplier, Customers, Procurement, Customs and Global Trade teams to support logistics operations.
  • Documentation, Records and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate customs and compliance records, including import/export documentation, HS codes, material certificates, material movement records, GRNs, and shipping paperwork.
  • Control and archive customs records, import/export documentation, and compliance files.
  • Ensure scanning and electronic storage of work orders and material records for audit and traceability purposes.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports covering KPIs like inventory status, shortages, cycle count accuracy, and receiving/shipping status.
  • Support audits (internal, customer, regulatory) by maintaining accurate material and documentation records are traceable, complete and available as per RTX retention policy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A University Degree in Supply Chain Operations or Logistics is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics and material handling in defense or aerospace industry
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, traceability requirement, shelf-life management and documentation control
  • Hands-on experience with ERP based inventory modules, material tracking and inventory control tools

Qualifications We Prefer

  • High attention to details and documentation discipline
  • Leadership mindset with hands-on execution capability
  • Good skill in MS Excel and Data analysis (pivot tables, trackers, dashboards)
  • Ability to work in highly controlled, constraint driven production environment
  • Good communicator with confidence to engage both shop floor teams and senior management

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR Equivalent experience (typically 2–4 years of related professional experience)
