Our goal in People Services is to deliver exceptional experience to employees and provide comprehensive service support to HR. We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and versatile professional to join our team. This unique role is designed to provide the incumbent with broad exposure to the inner workings of U.S. People Services, offering a well-rounded experience through active participation in HR advisory, operational efficiency, and complex problem resolution.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience by contributing to three core areas of HR operations:

  • HR Advisory & Engagement
    Act as a key resource for employees and managers by offering high-quality assistance and resolving a variety of HR-related inquiries. Use a diagnostic approach to understand needs, provide clear guidance on company policies, and direct employees to self-service resources.

  • Complex Case Management
    Support the resolution of high-level HR matters by conducting research, managing sensitive information with discretion, and ensuring that complex inquiries are handled accurately and empathetically.

  • Operational Excellence
    Assist the team in identifying and recommending process improvements. Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the employee experience, streamlining operations, and improving service delivery.

  • Strategic Collaboration
    Work across different U.S. People Services teams to ensure a seamless and consistent experience for stakeholders. Share insights to help drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in a professional environment with a strong focus on problem-solving and customer service.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to show empathy and provide supportive guidance when addressing employee concerns.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior experience in a Human Resources or customer service-facing environment.

  • Familiarity with HR policies or specialized areas such as Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Management, or Employee Relations.

  • Experience using HR systems like Workday or ServiceNow.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is a plus.

Location: This role is hybrid and ranges between 1-3 days a week onsite in Farmington, CT.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
