Join our dynamic team as an Analyst in Global Archer Services, where you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in business process documentation, risk and control documentation, and control analysis. This role is pivotal in supporting Global Risk within the Global Risk Intelligence and Technology (GRIT) function.
Position Responsibilities:
• Business Process Documentation: Lead the documentation of business processes, ensuring clarity and precision in capturing workflows and procedures.
• Risk and Control Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive risk and control documentation, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Control Analysis: Conduct thorough control analysis to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Flow Chart Documentation: Utilize Visio to create detailed flow charts that visually represent processes and controls, enhancing understanding and communication across teams.
• Archer Support: Provide admin support to end-users, conduct UAT/Prod Testing, manage Archer Access Security
Additional Responsibilities:
• Monitor and report on data quality within the Archer system.
• Assist in automating data ingestion processes and maintaining data integrity.
• Conduct regular access security reviews to ensure appropriate access controls.
• Document processes, procedures, and project work, ensuring comprehensive records are maintained.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Visio and other documentation tools.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk and control.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively document and convey complex processes.
• Broad knowledge of financial services/insurance business and related products
• In-depth subject matter expertise in OSFI E-21 specifically Business Continuity. Well-understood connection with Crisis Management, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery and Third-Party Risk Management.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in operational risk management plus strong knowledge of operational processes, risks and controls.
• High proficiency in MS Office Products and data analytics tools such as Power BI is a PLUS.
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Strong influencing skills with the ability to build effective relationships, both within and across divisions
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
Preferred qualifications:
• University undergraduate degree with a relevant professional designation preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to work with little guidance
