Specialty Networks is an integrated, multi-specialty organization with GPOs, Life Sciences, and Research solutions in Urology, Gastroenterology, and Rheumatology. Specialty Networks solutions include population health management, patient engagement, clinical research, and workflow automation technologies to achieve Center of Excellence status in Standards of Care, Clinical Research, Practice Operations, and Value-based Care. Specialty Networks leverages the Power of its Network, represented by over 10,000 providers, to help independent physician practices, industry, wholesalers/distributors, payers, and policymakers improve patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Data Engineering plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across Specialty Networks Solutions. This role partners closely with the Real-World Evidence (RWE) team and Business Development stakeholders to design, build, and maintain analytical data assets and dashboards that support feasibility assessments, insights generation, and strategic growth initiatives.

The analyst will leverage analytics technologies including SQL, Python and R to create scalable analytic datasets and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with RWE and Business Development teams to understand analytical requirements and translate business questions into scalable data solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain Analytical Data Bases (ADBs) using SQL and Python to support RWE initiatives.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within specialty healthcare data
  • Support ad hoc and recurring analytical requests related to RWE studies, customer opportunities, and network growth
  • Collaborate with data engineering, product, and analytics teams to improve data availability and analytics best practices
  • Document data models, business logic, and dashboard definitions to support transparency and reuse

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or analytics role, preferred
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming large datasets
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar big data analytics platforms preferred
  • Working knowledge of Python and/or R for data analysis
  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear business insights
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience supporting Real-World Evidence (RWE), healthcare analytics, or life sciences data preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare and EMR data highly preferred
  • Experience working in a cloud-based data ecosystem (e.g., Azure, GCP) preferred
  • Experience developing dashboards and visual analytics using BI Tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc) preferred
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and analytical best practices

Location: This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be able to work within EST or CST business hours.

Anticipated salary range: $80,500 - $103,400
