What You Will Do:

  • Lead advanced analytical problem-solving, using Python, SQL, and Databricks to transform operational, financial, and market data into decision-ready insights.

  • Design and interpret complex analytical outputs (trends, anomalies, scenarios, and forecasts) to develop critical metrics, recommend performance improvements, new strategies, and risk controls.

  • Develop and maintain AI-enabled analytics solutions, including building and deploying Copilot agents to automate recurring analysis, explain metrics, and accelerate insight delivery for stakeholders within the BU.

  • Conduct financial and economic analysis (revenue impacts and marginal cost analysis) to support long-term planning and capital allocation.
     

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.

  • 6+ years of experience in pipeline operations, midstream energy, or operational analytics roles with increasing responsibility.

  • Proven experience analyzing operational and near‑real‑time data (e.g., AVEVA PI System, SCADA-derived data, or similar operational platforms).

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience building analytical workflows on cloud analytics platforms (preferably Databricks).

  • Experience with Excel-based analysis and automation, including VBA, deliver decision-ready dashboards and analytics using Power BI.

  • Practical experience using AI-assisted analytics and Copilot agents to automate data examination, elucidate metrics, or support scenario modeling. Ability to develop what-if scenarios and sensitivity analyses to evaluate operational, market, and regulatory changes.

  • Effective interpersonal skills with and the ability to translate analytics into clear executive insights, including concise PowerPoint materials.
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office based position.

  • Up to 25% travel.
