Team/Role Overview
The SP Solutions team is a structuring team responsible for origination, product development and execution of Solutions transactions for clients. It sits within the Spread Products business and also within Fixed Income Structuring team. The role reports to the Head of Solutions Structuring for Fixed Income. This is a VP level role, and you will be involved in developing, marketing and executing SP solutions ideas, across all types of institutional business mainly focused on EMEA (Developed Markets).
Transactions are expected to span across a wide swathe of Spread Products including risk transfer (including SRT transactions), special situations, single name private credit , structured credit, illiquid credit, tail risk hedging for clients, etc. You will also work collaboratively alongside other structurers in the broader Fixed Income Structuring team in executing transactions. The role will involve regular interaction with sales, trading and control function teams. A good part of the role involves developing ideas, expanding the boundaries of what is possible through working with trading / sales / control functions. In addition, attention to detail is critical given the focus on understanding complex legal documents.
