Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Recreation, Leisure Services, biological/natural sciences, education or related field AND two (2) years of related experience
-OR- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Recreation, Leisure Services, biological/natural sciences, education or related field AND one (1) year of related experience
-OR- Professional experience as described herein can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education
A Valid Florida driver’s license at time of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Recreational, Athletics, & Leisure Service programming experience
CPR Certification
Expereince with including Microsoft Office Professional and RecTrac or similar reservation software
Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years
Starting Pay Range: $53,456.00 - $55,057.60/ annually, based on experience
